๐ก Why This Matters
The relationship between speed and time saved is not linear โ it follows a curve of diminishing returns. Going from 50 to 60 km/h saves far less time than going from 20 to 30 km/h, even though both are a 10 km/h increase.
The formula is simple: time = distance รท speed. But our brains aren't wired to intuitively grasp the gap between two reciprocals.
This is why speeding feels like it should save much more time than it actually does. It's a cognitive illusion โ and now you can see through it.
